Anonymous asked: I heard the comedian in question (whose name is suppressed but we all know who he is) came home drunk and assaulted his step daughter and then claimed he thought it was her mum. He basically got off because the Judge claimed NZ needed more "funny people". Great work justice system.
Anonymous asked: Apparently it did happen. But it was his step daughter and she was 9.. or something.. the story changed a few times. It was on the news and on stuff last year but it never named him. But it got leaked. I found out ages before it was in the news because my boyfriend's best friends cousin worked at the courts in Auckland (I think)... small world =P

I finished level 3 last year and thought I had pretty much passed everything, but when I got the results, I had only passed three papers and my photography folio, I only just managed to get university entrance. So it is a HELL of a lot harder to pass than you think.

And to be perfectly honest, all of NCEA was easy as fuck, and doesn't actually count for anything once you've got it. All you really need is university entrance, which you would have to be seriously retarded not to get. If you're not going to university, then you don't need any of it.

Anonymous asked: I'm loving all of this NCEA talk. My high school did Cambridge, and it seems like a fuck lot less complicated than NCEA. I've never understood that whole credits system. We just got A*, A, B, C, D, E or Ungraded in our exams and that was that.

teaiscosy asked: oh my god all of the english teachers at my school went spastic and told every one that NCEA were changing the unfamiliar texts paper and asking you to write about "aspects of character" and all this bullshit that I didnt understand so when i opened the paper and saw it was just asking me for a language feature i nearly cried i was so happy. Just thought you should know.
